Comic Strip Activities – Learning Empathy Through Creativity
As part of our eTwinning
project “The Colors of My Emotions”, students from Class V
participated in a creative and meaningful activity dedicated to empathy,
friendship and bullying prevention.
During the
activity, students created comic strips illustrating real-life situations
related to emotions, respectful communication and positive peer relationships.
Through drawings, dialogues and storytelling, they expressed their thoughts and
feelings about how kindness, understanding and support can help create a safe
and inclusive school environment.
The activity encouraged students to:
- recognize
and express emotions;
- develop
empathy and teamwork;
- reflect
on the effects of bullying;
- identify
peaceful and respectful ways to solve conflicts;
- use
creativity as a form of emotional expression.
Parents were also involved in
supporting and encouraging students throughout the activity, strengthening the
connection between school and family.
The comic strips were later
transformed into a short video presentation and shared on the school page,
parents’ groups and the TwinSpace platform, helping us spread positive messages
about friendship, respect and emotional awareness.
We are proud of our students’
creativity, sensitivity and active involvement in promoting a culture of
kindness and inclusion.
